Wishes do Come True in this Year’s Pantomimes 2012

It is Christmas, and that can only mean it is time for the Pantomimes 2012 season! This season proves to be a sensation panto season with favourites such as Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Aladdin and Peter Pan.

Sleeping Beauty – York

Sleeping Beauty returns to the Grand Opera House in York to fall asleep once more and awaken with a kiss from her handsome Prince Charming. It has been a long time since York’s favourite fairytale graced the stage at the Opera House, but fear not…she will be here for all of December.

Aladdin – London

Do not miss Pantomimes 2012 production of Aladdin at London’s Richmond Theatre. Floating in an all-star cast, Gareth Leighton will bring a dreamy Aladdin to life, and wishes will come to life as Suzanne Shaw appears as The Genie.

Cinderella – Glasgow

Cinderella hits the stage at the King’s Theatre in Glasgow for the Pantomimes 2012 season. The spectacular cast features as the fabulous Jenny Douglas in the title role and Karen Dunbar as the magical Fairy Godmother. This is a panto for the whole family!

Peter Pan – Manchester

Manchester Opera House in Manchester will delight people of all ages with the always fantastic Peter Pan! A Peter Pan panto would not be complete without the evil Captain Hook played by The Hoff, David Hasselhoff himself! It is sure to be a treat the whole family will love.

Cinderella – Milton Keynes

Milton Keynes theatre presents the favourite of all fairy tales, the enchanting Cinderella. This Christmas panto will not be complete without Dandini, portrayed by the super talented Louie Spence of Dancing on Ice fame. Dandini will thrill you with his dance moves and hold you captive. Spend this Christmas with a favourite!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs – Wimbledon

Priscilla Presley will be making her London stage and pantomime debut as the evil queen in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the New Wimbledon Theatre in Wimbledon. The wonderful Warwick Davis will serve as chief dwarf Prof. It is sure to be a panto you will not forget.

Dick Whittington – Woking

Ashleigh and Pudsey, of Britain’s Got Talent fame will be appearing in Dick Whittington, a fantastic pantomime that is fun for the entire family. Ashleigh will appear as the character Alice Fitzwarren, and the centre of affection for Dick. Her adorable little dog Pudsey, a six-year-old mix breed of Bichon Frise, Chinese Crested and Border Collie will be in the production as well. Dick Whittington will be performed during December at the New Victoria theatre in Woking.
