Strictly Judge Loves a British Sausage

British Sausage Week 2010 is the most celebrated sausage event of the year. No one appreciates the merits and delicious taste of the sausage quite like the British. The British Sausage Week features a very special appearance from renowned choreographer and director Craig Revel Horwood as the celebrity judge for year’s event. The mouth-watering British beloved sausage took front and centre as the talented sausage competitors presented their best sausage creations to date. The variety of British sausages on display for the judging event featured new and innovation flavours. Acclaimed star judge of ‘ Strictly Come Dancing ‘, Horwood loves sausages more than most. His important role as judge of the British Sausages Week saw the popular celebrity eating as many as 200 sausages this week.

The Mark Addy pub in Salford played host to the sausage festivities. British Sausages Week judge Craig Revel Horwood is not the only excited sausage lover sampling 200 or so sausages this week. Notably, the very hard to please judge is having his wonderful fill of the delightful event and delicious British sausage. Here are just some of the locations around the country that these delicious sizzling bangers hailed from for this years British Sausage Week judging event.

Eleven butchers featuring their amazing sausages from Stockport, Bury, Urmston and Flixton made the final cut. These eleven butchers in total created the most delectable sausages for the ultimate British Sausage Week judging event making judging this year’s event a pleasurable challenge indeed.

Due to the great selection of sausages featured in the British Sausage Week 2010 event, competition was stiff. The tasty sausages were definitely a hit with all in attendance. British sausages packed with the finest pork, haggis and more, had everyone’s tastes buds sizzling with delight. Taking the title was the most scrumptious British sausage of them all was Dales Butchers in Kirkby Lonsdale. Before Judge Craig Revel Horwood returns to film the next instalment of Strictly Come Dancing , he is next due to judge the regional round where he will no doubt eat another 200 deliciously prepared sizzling sausages. The next round will determine best regional British sausage where the competition is expected to be even more sizzling and deliciously fierce.

From the union jack frying panunion jack apron to the Union Jack Chef hat , the annual British tradition had sausage lovers ready to sample this year’s sausage favourites.
