On November 29, 2006, the Scottish Parliament passed the St Andrew’s Day Bank Holiday (Scotland) Act 2007. Queen Elizabeth II gave the St. Andrew’s Day Bank Holiday (Scotland) Act 2007 Royal Assent on January 15, 2007.
